Rushy Pond Bridge to be replaced
The Rushy Pond Bridge on the Trans-Canada Highway, approximately six kilometres west of Grand Falls-Windsor will be replaced.
A new concrete bridge will be constructed along with a temporary bypass around the construction site. There will be new guide rails installed and new pavement leading to the new bridge.
The existing bridge will be removed.
Construction will start this construction season and is expected to be completed in 2023.
Two bridges near Grand Falls-Windsor will be replaced this year. Aspen Brook Bridge on the Trans-Canada Highway will also be replaced.
