Russian missiles land in Poland, a NATO member
There are unconfirmed reports that a Russian missile has hit Poland. Poland is a NATO member. The Polish government is holding an emergency meeting.
At least two people are dead from the missile. NATO is investigating to determine if this was a provocation by the Russian government.
Russia has bombarded Ukraine with missiles throughout the day.
The Russian government has denied the allegations.
The President of Poland Kancelaria Prezydenta has been in contact with Jens Stoltenberg the NATO Secretary General and US President Joe Biden.
Brig. Gen. Patrick Ryder of the United States Military said, "we will defend every inch of NATO territory."
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia said "Estonia is ready to defend every inch of NATO territory."
