UPDATE: The situation on Mooney Crescent is now resolved. The shelter in place is now lifted.


There will remain an increased police presence in the area.

 

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is advising the general public of an increased police presence in the area of Mooney Crescent in the Kilbride area of St. John’s.


A shelter in place order has been issued for those who live in the area of Mooney Crescent, Old Petty Harbour Road, Bay Bulls Road, Cemetary Lane, Silverton Street, Kilbride Ave, Brennan Field, Densmore Lane, Huntingdale Drive, Carondale Druve, Ashbourne Drive, Royal Oak Drive and areas in between.


Please obey police direction and remain away from the area.
