St. John's is considering tax amendment to Daycare Centre regulations

The City of St. John's is considering a tax amendment to the St. John’s Development Regulations, that would amend the Daycare Centre regulations to bring them more in line with the requirements and terminology used by the Province.

The changes would allow Family Child Care Services (a daycare within a home) as a Permitted Use within various residential zones, and allow Daycare Centre as a Permitted Use in various commercial and institutional zones.

Comments on the changes will be accepted until 9:30 a.m. on November 28.
