Schools/Post Secondary:

  • Memorial University's St. John's, Marine Institute and Signal Hill campuses, including the Childcare Centre, are closed for the day.

  • CNA Ridge Road closed all day

  • CNA Seal Cove closed all day.

  • CNA Carbonear closed all day.

  • CNA Clarenville closed all day.

  • CNA Burin closed all day.

  • CNA Bonavista closed all day.

  • CNA Placentia closed all day.

  • CNA Prince Philip Drive - Daycare, ATC, TRO, PPB & Employment Centres closed all day.

  • CNA Gander and Grand Falls-Windsor will be closed for the morning. Update at 11 a.m.

Cities/Towns:

  • St. John's City facilities closed all day.

  • St. John's waste and recycling collection for area 5 cancelled.

  • Town of Paradise facilities closed all day.

  • No waste collection in Mount Pearl.


Health

  • All NL Health Services in Eastern-Urban and Eastern-Rural zone community health sites and administrative buildings that do not provide a 24-hour service are closed all day.

  • All breastfeeding support groups have been cancelled.

  • The walk-in clinic at 50 Mundy Pond Road in St. John’s will be closed from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a further update to come.

  • Outpatient blood collection will be unavailable at all non-hospital sites.

  • In-person Doorways service will be unavailable; virtual service will proceed.


Other:

  • Provincial Government offices in the St. John’s metro region closed all day.

  • Provincial Government offices in Clarenville closed all day.

  • Provincial Government offices in Grand Falls-Windsor closed all day.

  • Provincial Government offices in Harbour Grace closed all day.

  • Provincial Government offices in Marystown closed all day.

  • Liquor Stores in metro St. John’s, Mount Pearl, Paradise, Conception Bay South, as well as NLC Head Office, Rock Spirits and Distribution Centre closed all day.

  • Liquor Stores in Carbonear and Bay Robert’s closed all day.

  • Marystown Liquor Store will have a delayed opening today, with an update at noon.

  • Clarenville Liquor Store closed all day.

  • Avalon Mall closed all day.

  • MetroBus and GoBus not operating.

  • Supreme Court, General Division, in St. John’s closed all day.

  • Supreme Court in Gander closed all day.

  • Supreme Court in Grand Bank closed all day.

  • Supreme Court in Grand Falls-Windsor closed for the morning with an update at 11:30 a.m.
