Stormy day expected along the west coast of the Island #nlwx

An area of low pressure will push across Newfoundland today.

For the Avalon and central, snow will fall this morning and will change to ice pellets with showers later in the day with gusty winds. On the west coast, 5 to 10 cm of snow is expected with strong winds resulting in blowing snow and reduced visibility. Highs across the Island will be at or near the freezing mark.

Snow is expected across most of Labrador. Highs will range between minus 1 and minus 7.
