Stormy weather setup for Newfoundland and Labrador starting tonight #nlwx

The weather will be mostly calm across Newfoundland and KLabrador today with light to moderate winds, sun and cloud, and highs from minus 5 to minus 24.
A weather system will push through tonight and will bring snow to central and western Newfoundland and a snow, ice pellet, and rain mix to the Avalon.
Conditions will gradually improve over the course of the day on Friday.
For the Great Northern Peninsula, West Coast, South Coast, Central, and Northeastern Newfoundland between Green Bay and Fogo Island, snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 cm is expected with more snow expected on Friday for the Great Northern Peninsula. Winds will gust between 70 and 100 km/h and to 130 km/h in the Wreckhouse.
For the eastern half of the Island, 10 to 15 cm of snow is expected from Thursday night through Friday morning. wind gusts between 70 and 100 km/h is possible.
Coastal Labrador will also see snow from Friday evening into Saturday night. Snowfall amounts of 15 to 30 cm are anticipated combined with wind gusts between 70 and 100 km/h.
