The weather will be calmer and colder today #nlwx

After a wild day on Wednesday, the weather will be much nicer today.

Any areas of central Newfoundland still seeing snow will gradually clear this morning. There is a chance of flurries across the Avalon Peninsula and on the west coast there is also a chance of flurries. Highs will be near the freezing mark.

Across the Big Land, there is a chance of flurries in western areas. Four Happy Valley-Goose Bay and coastal areas, mainly sunny skies are expected. Daytime highs will range from minus 7 to minus 12.
