Today is Budget Day

It's budget day in Newfoundland and Labrador.

It is focused on the financial and economic health of the province, especially in light of tariffs.

Deputy Premier and Minister of Finance Siobhan Coady will deliver the Budget 2025 speech at 2:00 p.m.

Parking restrictions will be in place for all visitors and public service employees at Confederation Building Complex. Parking in front of East Block will be limited to media and invited guests attending the Budget Speech. The parking lot at the rear of East Block, near the House of Assembly entrance, will be available to permit holders for Zones A, B, C, invited guests and persons with disabilities only.

Parking restrictions will be in place all day beginning at 6:00 a.m. Signs will be in place as a reminder.
