Trump Deploys Military

U.S. President Donald Trump spoke to the nation on Monday evening to address the unrest sparked by protests following the homicide of George Floyd.

Trump said he will deploy thousands of military personnel to end the riots. He also promised that protesters will be prosecuted.

Trump said justice would be served for George Floyd.

Just before his address protesters were gathering around the White House. A group of military vehicles drove onto Pennsylvania Avenue to disperse the crowds.

The crowd was dispersed by tear gas and flashbangs.
