Trump hits world with steel and aluminum tariffs

As promised, U.S. President Donald Trump has added to an already tense trade war by implementing 25 per cent import levies on steel and aluminum. This is for all countries, including Canada.
Finance Minister Dominic LeBlanc announced today that Canada will respond by imposing tariffs on $29.8B in U.S. goods including steel and aluminum, computers, sports equipment and certain cast iron products, to name a few.
