U.K. Prime Minister Johnson to Return to Work Today
U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson is set to return to work after recovering from COVID-19.
Johnson was hospitalized for a week after reporting persisting symptoms and experiencing breathing difficulties. For a time he was in the intensive care unit at St Thomas' Hospital in London.
The office of the Prime Minister said that Johnson will return to the office on Monday.
The United Kingdom is on lockdown and will remain that way until at least May 7th.
The number of deaths from COVID-19 globally is now over 200,000. That number is thought to be much higher.
