U.S.-Taliban Sign Agreement to End War
The United States and the Taliban have signed an agreement that will see all U.S. troops leaving Afghanistan within 14 months.
America will leave five bases within four months.
It has been an ongoing war over the last 18 years that began shortly after the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, making it America's longest war.
The agreement was reached between U.S. special envoy Zalmay Khalilzad and the Taliban’s chief negotiator Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar. The two were meeting in Doha, Qatar.
