Ukrainian forces strike flagship of the Russian navy in the Black Sea

Ukrainian forces have hit the flagship of the Russian navy in the Black Sea.

On Wednesday Ukrainian officials said Moskva had been hit by Ukrainian anti-ship missiles and was ablaze on the ocean.

The Russian Ministry of Defense said the ship was seriously damaged after a fire but did not reference a Ukrainian strike.

Russia is reporting that the vessel is still afloat.

At the time the ship was carrying 510 crew members.
