Update on Fiona damage

Provincial officials provided an update this afternoon on the cleanup efforts on the southwest coast.

There are 805 homes registered with the Red Cross. Provincial funds are being distributed by the Red Cross.

In total 260 dwellings were impacted by Fiona.

All routes are open as work continues to keep roads open.

Government will rebuild houses for those who need funding. There will be consultation on where it will be safe to rebuild.
