Vehicle collides with light pole in the east end of St. John’s on Sunday evening

No one was injured following a single vehicle that hit a light pole in the East-End of St. John’s on Sunday evening.

At around 5:30 PM on Sunday Firefighters with the St. John’s Regional Fire Department were called to the area of Stavanger Drive and Aberdeen Avenue in front of Boston Pizza.

The vehicle that had collided into a light pole did sustain moderate damage. One person was assessed at the scene and released.

The light pole did sustain significant damage. A portion of Stavanger Drive was closed as emergency services assessed the situation.
