Woman charged after various incidents in St. John's

A 42-year-old female has been arrested following property damage in St. John's yesterday morning.

When officers arrived on the scene, the suspect was gone.

A short time later, another complaint of fraud was received from a downtown St. John’s business.

Through an investigation, it was determined both incidents were linked to the same female and she was identified.

At 3:00 p.m., officers located the female in the west end of St. John’s. During the arrest, the female resisted and assaulted the officers. She was taken into custody and is charged with Property Damage, Resisting Arrest, Assaulting a Police Officer, Uttering Threats, Fraud, and Breach of Release Order. The subject was held for court.

There are no injuries to report as a result of the incident.
